Instagram has launched a new "best practices" feature for professional accounts, accessible through the professional dashboard, which provides personalized advice on creating, sharing, and monetizing content. The feature offers a mix of general social media strategies and specific recommendations, such as keeping Reels under 90 seconds to boost discoverability. While this tool aims to help creators optimize their engagement and reach, it may also pressure them to strictly follow Instagram’s guidelines, potentially limiting creative freedom and increasing dependency on platform-driven strategies.
Microsoft is enhancing its Copilot AI platform by introducing targeted advertising that is more relevant and less intrusive, featuring a new “ad voice” that seamlessly integrates ads into conversations. These updates will be rolled out across multiple platforms, including copilot.microsoft.com, Android, iOS, Bing, and Edge, resulting in a significant increase in user engagement. Also, Microsoft is providing advertisers with advanced metrics and diagnostic tools, such as the Performance Snapshot feature, to better manage and assess their campaigns within the Copilot environment.
